AnnoManager

AnnoManager renames many text notes and tags at once. Open the window, select the items in the model, tick the ones you want, set the rules, and press Rename. A preview column shows the new text before you commit.

• Add a prefix or a suffix, and remove characters from the start or the end.
• Find and replace text inside every selected item.
• Insert or remove characters at an index you choose.
• Change the text to upper case or lower case, remove diacritics, and trim spaces.
• Renames a tag through the parameter that the tag shows, on the tagged element or its type. Other parameters with the same value keep their value.
• Writes number parameters in project units, so 4000 stays 4000 mm.
• Keeps the line breaks and spaces of a text note, and refuses a rule that would leave a text note empty.
• Shows room, area and space tags in the list, and skips them in the rename, because their text comes from the room, area or space.
• The window stays open while you work in Revit, so you can refresh the selection at any time.
• Works in Revit 2022 to Revit 2026.
