Activate Worksets

Activate Worksets turns on every user workset in the active view with one click. When you open a workshared model, worksets often come in hidden, and parts of the building are missing from the view. Instead of opening the Worksets dialog and ticking each row, you press one button and the whole model appears.

• Sets every user workset in the active view to visible.
• Changes the active view only, so your other views keep their own settings.
• Runs in a single transaction, so one undo puts everything back.
• Stops and explains when the model is not workshared.
• Stops and explains when the active view is a sheet, schedule, legend or drafting view, because those views do not show worksets.
• Stops and names the view template when the template controls the worksets of the view, because a change on the view would be lost.
• Stops and names the owner when another user has the view checked out.
• Lists the worksets that are closed after the change, because their elements stay hidden until you open them.
• Sits on the First Option ribbon tab, in the Common panel, under the Worksets menu. With one First Option product installed it sits on the Add-Ins tab.
• Works in Revit 2020 to 2026.
